  Job Description
General Networks consultants help our customers work efficiently with document-intensive business processes. We support engagements that require a combination of many disciplines and skill sets.

As a member of a highly motivated team of technical/business consultants, you will participate in the full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of projects deploying Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems, including document management, records management, workflow, imaging, web publishing and more.

Job Duties
·         Attend project meetings and contribute creatively to the project.
·         Schedule and coordinate project tasks with clients and team members.
·         Gather and analyze business requirements.
·         Design and prototype the system to be implemented.
·         Install, configure, customize and test ECM applications from leading vendors.
·         Develop and test custom applications and custom components.
·         Train users and administrators on the system.
·         Support users during pilot testing and acceptance testing.
·         Create project documents, including Business Requirements, Functional. Design Specifications, System Configuration, Test Scripts and User Guides.
·         Create status reports and present them to clients and managers.
·         Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
·         Work with software vendors on resolution of software issues.
·         Perform software upgrades and apply patches on servers and desktops.
·         Provide post-deployment technical support to system users and administrators. 

Skills and Knowledge
·         Excellent communication skills
·         A minimum of five years of experience in SDLC, software development, relational databases,
·         SQL scripting, and troubleshooting
·         Experience must include programming using .Net or other OOP development tools
·         Background in ECM is desirable
·         A talent for technical problem solving as well as creative design of business solutions
·         Strong analytical skills, creativity and initiative
·         Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic high-technology environment
·         Willingness to commute to various client locations in Southern California, and sometimes travel outside of Southern California.
·         Ability to work under tight deadlines
·         Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
·         Experience in business requirements analysis, system design and architecture
