"Having a reliable system has been the biggest benefit to us. Being able to use Citrix and work remotely has really improved our productivity. Also, having all of the employees on email and access to computers has really been a big benefit to us.

We now proactively spend money to make sure everything stays working whereas we used to spend money every time something broke. We now have our people focusing on their jobs and not on the problems they are having with their IT. We had staff that were spending their time on IT when they should have been focusing on clients. Now we can let them focus on their jobs and you focus on our IT. We were also using the migration to perform a kind of cultural shift to better communication so having such a good experience from the user side helped everyone get on board much faster.

In general it is very easy to access you guys. When we have issues and we need your IT support you are there. It’s not one of those things where every time we have a problem you guys are closed. The reliability of knowing you will be able to get someone on the phone every time is very important. The turnaround time is instantaneous, the problem may not be fixed immediately but we can rest assured that someone is working on it. I’ve never had someone answer the phone and tell me they will have to call me back."

"For me personally I do accounting here and I’m not trained in IT, I took that on as a secondary role. If a server goes down or if there is a problem with any of the computers I can just call GNC and get an answer within the day. You make sure our downtime is minimized so we are pretty much always up and running because of you. The service turnaround time is great; we know that someone will always be here quickly. We really appreciate it.

We would always recommend GNC, we always talk about how great GNC are. Lee is great about showing the Assistant Controller how to navigate her way around the system so she can very easily fix some of the smaller issues herself instead of having to call Lee out to help, this has saved us a lot of money. He has been really helpful, lets me ask him a lot of questions and has been very patient in helping me through it.  When I first took over this position I knew nothing about computers servers. I am extremely grateful that Lee took the time to teach me and show me the ways. I am now much more confident and can handle most small issues that we have. The Assistant Controller had a baby two years ago and was gone for 3 months so Lee was extremely helpful to me and walked me through everything to make sure everything continued to run smoothly.

What we like most about your service is the turnaround time; in terms of me sending an email or making a phone call and the time it takes to get a resolution, I could not ask for anything more. Everything has been resolved in a timely manner. Good job Cort, you take the time and help me out, you go above and beyond. At the end of the fiscal year when it is time to budget you take the extra time to go over our inventory and help us out. Cort is so wonderful at always keeping us up to date on the newest technology which helps us save money in the long run. It is very important to us that there is continuity with your company in that we have only had to deal with one salesman and one or two technicians. It has meant that you always know the history of our business and servers. Because of our service from GNC we haven’t had to hire any IT staff either full or part time. That’s why we have a long term relationship; it is always good to have long term win-win relationships."

"I have been a General Networks client for 11 years, I know if I ever get in a pinch I can call you guys and immediately get it figured out. We have done two virtualization projects: we first upgraded our e-mail servers and that saved us around $12,000 in hardware costs, then we virtualized our accounting systems and that saved us another $10,000 plus we have huge savings in power and cooling costs. We also have a Citrix solution that allows us to reduce the required bandwidth at our 4 remote sites, saving around $600 per month per site. That is saving us $28,000 per year. You have great communication, pleasant people, who are very honest. We feel comfortable leaving anyone of your technicians in the room where we keep our money. Everyone is very approachable; no one makes you feel stupid when I go to them with simple questions about my own computer. They make it very simple for the lay person; they will even write me a cheat sheet. I have learned a lot, I have come a long way with using computers. Another thing we love is the reliability you provide, we have something to fall back on, and I don’t think you can say that about a lot of things in life. We have had a couple of instances where we had malware and virus problems, we have called Herb and had techs been able to walk us through and teach us how to avoid it and get rid of it before it attacks our computer.
